Here’s the long time owner of the Curious Book Shop in East Lansing, Michigan, Ray Walsh who sets up at PulpFest each year. Ray is just beginning the arduous task of carrying in several boxes of books and magazines and arranging them on his shelves. Ray is getting a bit on in years and I wish he would bring somebody with him to help with the work. |

David Earle talking with dealer Joe Saines. I first met David Earle at PulpFest in 2015. He’s an English professor from Pensacola, Florida. Last year he was set up as a dealer but this year he was just a customer. Last year at PulpFest Joe Saines sold me a hardcover book
Horror Comics Of The 1950s. about EC comics that I had been seeking for a long time. He still has a slightly better copy for himself. If he ever decides to sell it I hope he gives me a crack at it.

Veteran book and movie memorabilia dealer Brendan Faulkner and his wife Robin missed PulpFest last year because the dates conflicted with the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Con in Maryland which was much closer to their home. I was glad to see them back at PulpFest this year. |
