I was learning about EC comic books by reading The Rocket's Blast Comic-Collector fanzine in the late 1960s and I had several questions about them, especially why there were two different issues of Weird Science and Weird Science with the same number. There was no Overstreet Price Guide in those days to explain anything so I wrote to RB&CC's columnist Raymond Miller and asked him. Below is the letter he sent me.
