I like the 1960s TV show Star Trek but I've never been to a Star Trek convention. I did meet science fiction author Hal Clement at a sci-fi show in Roanoke, Virginia in the late 1990s. He saw my Astounding Science Fiction pulps on my dealer display wall and said he had some but didn't seem to eager to sell them to me. |
