I see Gary "Bubba" Williams at this show every year. He is an expert leather craftsmen and makes most of the gun belts and holsters seen here. I don't know if he makes or buys his Colt pistol replicas. I also call Bubba the Marshall of Williamsburg since he's always bristling with 19th Century weaponry. If you want to shoot it out with the Marshall, bring plenty of ammunition. |

Bubba Williams posing with one of his Bowie knives and a model of the largest and most feared tank in World War II, the German King Tiger tank! You don't expect the Marshall of Williamsburg to play with Barbie dolls do you? |

Western memorabilia dealer Jim Gaylen also attends this show each year. I had a Captain Action action figure from 1967 when I was a kid. The different costumes that were available then were Spider-Man, the Phantom, Captain America and Flash Gordon. More costumed characters were added later like these Lone Ranger and Tonto boxed figures. I also liked Mr. Gaylen's Gone With The Wind movie collector plates depicting Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. |
