Your narrator, the Leader
The Leader attended the Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Con in Hunt Valley, Maryland on 19 and 20 September 2013. This is the Leader's favorite show of the year. His pleasure at attending this year's show was greatly enhanced from being accompanied by his friend Jack Price of Suffolk, VA, a dedicated collector of John Wayne memorablia. The Leader approves of those type of people. The Leader was also delighted to see an old friend at the show, comic book collector George Mihalik whom he has known since the late 1990s. The Leader also approves of comic book collectors.

Ed Asner
Mary Tyler Moore's 1970s TV show newsroom managing editor Lou Grant signing autographs.
Julie Newmar
Julie Newmar is best remembered as the Catwoman on the 1960s TV show Batman. She was charging $30.00 for an autograph and she did't have any photos from her appearance on a 1960s Star Trek episode I liked, so I had to pass on getting her autograph. The Con's other big name female star Mamie Van Doren cancelled at the last minute and is rescheduled for next year.
Wes Shank
Wes Shank is the top authority on the 1958 cult science fiction film The Blob. His table had the real Blob silicone prop and other props from the movie.

Wes Shank
A real movie theater was used as a location but when the movie makers needed to show the Blob in front of the theater they used a photograph of the theater as a backdrop with the Blob placed in front. Here is that photograph used in the movie.
Capt. Chuck's Comics
Capt. Chuck's Comics had a big display of hardcover books, comic books and toys.
